I am not sure if I am the only one, but are you one of those people who have technology overloads? I do, and today I had one. I was outside of my class wondering, do I have homework due today? And so, I whiped out my Dell Mini 9 and opened it up. I was going to bring up my offline Google Calendar, but to much of my frustration, the battery was dying. So, it went into a deep sleep, and I was left there, frustrated! So, I just went into the NMSU Bookstore and bought another paper planner. I have tried time and time again to use Google Calendar to organize my life, but sometimes, I just can’t seem to get to it. Literally, I either don’t have an internet connection, time to wait for it to start up, or the battery is dead. Paper planners never run out of battery!
I’ve been noticing a pattern, this is the 3rd paper planner I have purchased due to my frustration with web-services (though I love them so much). But, it just made me think, sometimes you just need a direct connection to something, quickly; and you need to be able to see the screen too! If I’m outside, there isn’t a chance I am going to be able to see what is on my screen anyhow. Sometimes, no matter how hard us computer nerds try, we just can’t stuff our lives on a computer… yet.
Oo0o0oo….. I predict an Aubrey Web Calendar service coming to us nerds soon. Muahaha? Time to take over the world buddy? =\
By the way where did you get that image from? I like the new design too… =D
Haha, I don’t remember, Google’d “technology overload”, I think And the design is alright, I’m kind of getting tired of it actually.
I’m thinking about starting a new design…
